¹² They did not find me arguing with anyone or inciting a riot—not in the Temple or in the synagogues or anywhere else in the city. ¹³ Nor can they prove to you the charges they now bring against me.

¹⁴ “But this I confess to you, that according to the Way (which they call a sect), I worship the God of our fathers,^[a] believing everything written in the Torah and the Prophets.
